Is it free to sign up?

Yes it is totally free register and register as a seller (Vendor)

Are there any seller charges?

Yes, However in order to keep eCongo competitive with other online platforms we do take a small percentage in order to cover our running costs. Compared to the other larger platforms we are much lower in order for the seller to make a higher profit margin.

What are the charges?

The final selling charge on all products is 9.5%. Additional fees are paid by the seller (Vendor) per item the merchant provider. These fees are nothing to do with eCongo, these are the set amounts set out by “Stripe” as a merchant provider for sellers to receive payments. Please click HERE to see how the stripe fees are accumulated.

Who pays the postage fees?

We ask that all sellers (Vendors) ensure that they use either Royal Mail, Parcel Force or Evri to post products. In order to keep prices competitive we do suggest including part or all of the postage cost onto each item. As the seller (Vendor) is responsible for postage it is up to you to decide how much you would like cover of the postage cost.

How important are the weight and Shipping Class?

These are very important. As we supply automated shipping labels to the sellers (Vendors) it is very important you can provide as much information as possible. Buyer satisfaction is very important so to reduce none delivery of items please provide all of the information for the listing. A list of Shipping Classes are available when you list a product, for example: (Royal Mail second class Large Letter, £1.55)

I tried listing a product but could not find a suitable catagory.

Why is there a link to another Dashboard when I am in my Dashboard?

If you are registered as a user (Buyer) then everything you need to see is on you’re dashboard. However if you are a seller (Vendor) the the Vendors dashboard allows sellers to see their products, sales and other important information.
