Unlike other multi vendor platforms we strongly believe in keeping all costs or commissions up front so each vendor can adjust products prices accordingly when listing a product.
This will ensure your profit margins remain as high as possible but also keeping your pricing fair and competitive.
Please consider the following guide when listing a product.
Ok, let’s start with a product with a value of £10.00. what charges will be added onto this?
eCongo charge 10% commission as the outlining vendor platform. This amount comes off the end after the delivery has been added.
So that commission on £10.00 would be £1.00
Then we have to look at the Square charges as the merchant. Online transactions through Square Online, incur a fee of 1.4% + 25p for UK cards
Let’s work out what our product price should be:
- Our product price £10.00
- econgo Fee £ 1.00
- Square Fee. £ 0.12 Based on the original price of £10.00
- PayPal transaction £ 0.25 Based on the original price of £10.00
- Listed price. £11.37 plus shipping.
If you feel youre profit margins are high enough to not include these values in order to stay competitive that is entirely up the the vendor. This is a base guide only.
